Our oceanfront vacation rental is located in the quaint seaside vacation village of Neskowin (which means "land of many fishes"), a gem on the north-central Oregon Coast.  In 2004, Neskowin was featured in the national magazine, Coastal Living, where it's "breathtaking coastline" and its small town character were heralded.   

The wide view of the Pacific Ocean, miles of wide, sandy, uncrowded beaches and two golf courses add to Neskowin's quiet appeal.   Neskowin is right n the border of the 1,500-foot-high Cascade Head Scenic Research Area, which is a mecca for hikers because of its gorgeous trails through Sitka spruce and western hemlock forests and rare prairie headlands.  Enjoy the exquisite beauty of Proposal Rock, a large basalt seastack covered with trees that stands right at the edge of the surf in Neskowin, with Neskowin Creek curving around it.

Neskowin is located at the southern edge of  Tillamook County,  situated between Lincoln City and Pacific City along Highway 101 and the Pacific Ocean.    Lincoln City is only about 10 minutes away.  There is also easy access to Portland (about two hours) and Oregon Wine Country (about one
hour).

Enjoy long quiet walks on miles of gorgeous, secluded beach, unparalleled salmon fishing, and fabulous hiking trails through lush forests.   Play golf at the two nine-hole golf courses (Neskowin Beach and Hawk Creek Golf Course).  Meander through the Hawk Creek art gallery.   Enjoy horseback riding (in the summer).  Visit the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology nearby.

Nearby Lincoln City offers numerous excellent restaurants and a casino.  Also, nearby Devil's Lake Recreation Area (about ten minutes from Neskowin) offers great opportunities for windsurfing, hydroplaning and bird watching. Mountain bikes,  canoes and paddle boats are available for rent here.
